A Prayer for A Sister

Categories: Blog,Christian Life,God,Godly Life

God I pray for my dear sister and mentor, on her 7th anniversary as Your daughter.

I pray that Your plan replaces all her plans. I pray that Your strength and perseverance will be with her in all the days of her life. I pray that nothing can separate her from You and Your promises. Not a big storm, not a huge mountain, not a deep sea, not a dark valley. Not a desert or a dry and lonely wilderness. Not a life problem, not impossibility, not a seems-to-be delayed promise, not a long and winding road. Not her past, not her present, not her future. Nothing will ever stand between her and Your unceasing love.

I have seen Your glory rain upon this woman, God, and surely, she will see a lot more of You. I pray that the Holy Spirit will fulfill all her needs and wants. I know that Your grace is sufficient for all her ups and downs. I pray that her ‘light’ will become even brighter, wider, and stronger than ever before. I pray that she will be imparted with so many spiritual gifts from You, to a degree that she won’t be able to count it anymore, because it’s just too much. I pray that her ministry will be impactful in all aspects, because The Lord is with her.

I pray that the highly favored one will always remember that she is the highly favored one. I pray that she will put all the wonderful promises in Your hands, and every long journey to reach those promises under Your feet, for You have overcome the world. I thank God for every scold she has given me, every drop of her tears for me, every cent spent to treat me, every minute she used to pray for me and teach me the Word of God. I thank God for her. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen!

For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3 ESV
